PRESS: Volvo Trucks can sign invest if makes transmission in Russia

MOSCOW, Mar 27 (PRIME) -- The Russian government is ready to sign an investment deal with Volvo Trucks, which would allow the company to get subsidies, until the end of June, if it localizes automatic transmission equipment production, business daily Kommersant reported on Wednesday, citing a protocol of a government meeting.

Truck makers Kamaz and Daimler have already signed the agreements. GAZ Group of businessman Oleg Deripaska can start to produce MAN and Scania trucks once sanctions are removed.
